Kai: Thea Medea is a full length novel written with a rather manga-style setting. It is definitely one of the sadder books I’ve written, but a story I just needed to get out of me. It is an adventurous love story with a colorful environment, fantastical flavor, and complex characters.
Carlton Cordell is the city’s very own chocolatier, but what they don’t know, is that he’s also the post war city’s very own Robinhood. Still, Carl can be selfish and sly, getting him into trouble all the while running his popular and stylish candy store. But what happens when he runs into a mysterious girl living in the abandoned old house on O’Marney’s Street?
He wants to help her, but doubts himself, and cherry topping his list of problems, he begins to have weird experiences involving magical red-eyed mice.
While the girl Thea recovers from her abandonment, she finds herself having feelings for her rescuer, but doesn’t know how to tell him. What will become of Thea and the thieving chocolatier?
