Avery: The month of October is coming to a close, but I want to go out with a bang!

I made a VERY silly horror film this month called “ZipperFace”. I scrambled it together at last minute, with only two weeks before Halloween. The titular character ZipperFace is a leather doll crafted by Kai. We all agreed the doll was pretty creepy, so I suggested we make a horror film with it.

This film is very silly, and certainly not that creative or interesting, but I think it taught me as an artist to be more lax with my film making, I often fear being seen as silly and weird, but sometimes you need to let yourself be that way in order to make better films and stories, so I’m glad I made this short.

I am currently in the midst of finishing another Gingerberry Short that is in fact Halloween themed, I apologize in advance if it does not release in time, but rest assured, it will release in the next week! 🙂
