But why do we come up with all these lies about ourselves?
Well you tell your son, it's the way it is
Cause it's the way it always was
So I'll kneel at the feet of each child that I meet
And pray that our mistakes can be pardoned
And innocence will find its way back home

I think I was looking for wisdom,
a salve for reclaiming my soul
For a truth we have all but forgotten
But is something we already know
So you grade your idea of potential
Than experiment till you have proof

Lead the way to becoming anew?
