Kai: Over the last few years, Arianna, Avery and I have produced several children’s books and a educational children’s book series called Your New Friends.
While I wrote, and illustrated, Arianna contributed her own artistic talent, and Avery finished them off with digital design and clean up. He was also responsible for the series’s cool logo.
Because of this, all of these cute stories are available on our website to download for free in digital format.
The reason I wrote children’s books in the first place, was when we were first introduced to Free Little Library boxes, and exposed to the kinds of children’s books that were out there. To say in the least, I was not impressed, and some of those books were just plain obnoxious. Of course there is room for books that are just for fun, but some of these books really bothered me. No doubt there are also a lot of great kid’s books out there, but the one’s I initially came across were enough to inspire some action.
While most of our children’s books are written to be educational, I also wrote a few in story book style, with some kind of moral in mind. Most of them are super simple, but with colorful pictures that catch the eye. Please take a look, and make the time to read out loud to a child.
