~Post by Avery of Sacred Visions Studio~
Hello! We’ve not been very active for the longest time now have we? Honestly, Social media is just a very tiring ordeal for us these days, and we don’t expect that to change anytime soon. But that said, each of us here from Sacred Visions Studio is still working on our own creative projects, we are simply taking time and not bothering too care about advertising so much.
Some of you may know that I’m creating a webcomic series called “Gingerberry” and as of today, Chapter Two has completed and is available to read on WebToons, ComicFury, WebComic.Studio, and of course here on our website. (Give me a bit to compile the PDF, I’ll have it available soon!)
It’s a little crazy to think how far I’ve come with this story. I started drawing chapter one the beginning of 2025 and haven’t stopped since. I always wanted to make comics and tell stories, but I would often get in my own way being the perfectionist that I am. I’ve given up on many ideas and stories before this one, but this is the one that stuck till the very end…
And from the many wonderful comments I have received for this story (and even fan-art) it’s clear this story and its characters resonate strong with others as well!
For those of you interested in Webcomics as a medium, I want to let you know about the THE WHEEL OF WEBCOMICS! a Discord server BookClub for Webcomics! If you are a creator or simply a fan, we’d love for you to join and talk comics with others! Webcomics thrive off of the connection, and we need creators and fans alike to support one another! The Wheel has just started a newsletter and is also creating a monthly ZINE that we like to call “The Shonen Jump of Web Comics!”
If I have one message to leave you with, it would be to go support indie creators and their works where and when you can, especially right now. So many cool creators are out there are making unique things and no one knows about them. We need indie artists, but we also need people to participate and engage with indie art and seek out small creators and spread the good word about them. That’s how you create new culture and how humans continue to create great work.
