On August 7th, 2019, at the Wakulla County Extension Office in Wakulla County, Florida, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the unveiling of their courtyard mural. The mural was designed and painted by us here at Sacred Visions Studio, Arianna, Kai, and Avery Nakashima along with additional help from multiple volunteers.

Your New Friends Florida
Here is our new kid’s book, dedicated to our sunny, home state, Florida. It includes colorful art by Arianna and I, and fun facts about Florida. Digital designs were done by Avery.
Florida is a beautiful and diverse landscape that I hope will be preserved and respected for a long time to come, I wrote this book in hopes that children will continue to love and care for it.
The Gems Of Nature
The Gems of Nature is my second poetry book, this time, filled with Nature photography, instead of my art. Photos and poetry are by me, Kai, and the awesome digital designs are by Avery. All of the photos you see in this book were taken in beautiful, Florida.
Again, I hope to inspire people to take care of what we have. Nature is powerful and beautiful, and it’s up to us to keep it that way. I hope you find some love and joy within this book.
Your New Friends: The Garden
In celebration of our food forest/permaculture project, Arianna, Avery and I, are proud to release a brand-new, Your New Friends book! The Garden! We hope you enjoy this book, and most of all, get inspired to go outside and plant a garden!

“A HELPING HAND” – A short film about a fish in need
Hello everyone! Avery here. I’m pleased to present a short animated film I made during the month of March. It’s called “A Helping Hand”.
I’m very pleased with the outcome of this animation. Animated and edited in the Blender 3d software, this was my first try at making an animation where there would be a lot of personality and life in the movement of the character. Even the audio was recorded and mixed by me! And trust me, I don’t know a lot about audio, but it turned out pretty decent!
It has a nice message about keeping the environment clean from garbage and why it’s important to reach out and lend “A Helping Hand”.
I hope people find this animation funny, cute, or at least enjoyable. Feel free to share this with others. It means a lot when I know someone enjoys something I created!

My New Friends: Mythical Creatures
Here is the newest installment of the Your New Friends series! I wrote, and co-illustrated this book with Arianna. The graphic art is by Avery Nakashima.
While the main theme of the Your New Friends series is usually animals and nature, I decided I wanted to share my love for fantasy with children too. I hope this book inspires kids to be creative!

Here is my first poetry book! My animal-inspired collection, contains art of several styles, and both rhymed, and free-verse poetry.
I have written poetry forever, but finally, I have created a book, where years of my passing experiences and views of the animal world, come together.
It has been a dream of mine to author a book like this, so I am very happy to share it with you!
