For the month of December, I have a delightful craft to share with you!

This is a small doll outfit I embellished upon. It was originally on a stuffed toy that was found in a Little Library box. Kai kept the outfit and then asked if I would add on to it. So here it is!

Interestingly, from looking at the seams, it looks like it was a homemade piece to begin with. I then added the pink lace trim( a garage sale bargain) and a few beads to brighten up the neckline. I think it ended up pretty cute! Now I just need to find someone to wear it…

These guys weren’t quite the size, but we thought you’d enjoy seeing them! Kai has been giving new looks to old stuffed animals, and some of them look almost real at a distance.

Kai made these by taking apart old Beanie Babies and re-stuffing them with scrap cloth. They were then re-shaped by sewing and then painted and decorated into a whole new character. I think she did a great job creating these little critters.

So I hope you enjoyed the last post of recycled craft projects for this year. Doing these blogs definitely gave me a new challenge in crafts and maybe it gave you some new ideas and inspiration. Thanks for reading, and I truly hope you found some peace and beauty during the holidays, I know this year has been a rough ride for us all. I wish you a joyful New Year, and many blessings to come.
