Music, Poetry, & Performance Arts

A Live Performance / Music Video by Artist Sean Seid.

Avery: I am very lucky to live in a place with an incredible community of creative individuals, many whom I consider to be friends. I’ve been lucky to produce films with some of these incredible performing artists to share with a larger audience online through my YouTube channel tentatively titled Artists Avenue. A channel that presents cinematic films of Poetry, Music, and (potentially) short films.

I have produced 2 short films with my friend Sean Seid, an artist and performer you may remember I did an interview with back in 2021. Sean has been performing at Open Mics and sharing his poetry with the community of Pensacola Fl for many years, collecting his poetry into a book titled “The Love InSeid”. His art is a representation of his boundless creative spirit and imagination, his poetry is thought provoking and gets you thinking some pretty deep stuff. He is not on many social platforms besides Instagram, and even there he has been on and off of it over the years, but I recommend you give him a follow, his photography and poetry is always a treat to receive in your feed.

I have also produced content outside of the Artist Avenue channel too, I co-filmed and edited the music video “Mr. Tree” by Viki Lendel also known as Earth of Tomorrow, featuring a rap by our good friend Wilsonn. This is a totally fun music video to give a watch, it’s silly, creative, and just a plain good message about taking care of the Earth and ourselves! Earth of Tomorrow is a small channel, he has less than 10 subscribers as of writing, I’d like to see that change, he is an independent musician who deserves to have his voice heard.

So why am I sharing all this? Well, I want to support these artists, I want their art to be enjoyed and seen. Creating art of any kind in this day and age is difficult, building an audience, sustaining yourself economically, and the bravery and vulnerability of sharing said work is a challenge in and of itself. So I want to share these creative folk with you so you too can support them and other independent artists.

When one gives support to a small indie artist, with something as small as a little comment of appreciation or acknowledgement on their work, you can really help inspire and motivate them to keep creating. You never know how much of an impact you may leave on an artist. Artists shape the world, in big and small ways, so whenever you can, send a little love there direction.

And now I would like to acknowledge you friend, with the holidays coming up, we wish you a very wonderful Christmas and New Year! Stay safe and Happy Holidays!
