Animal Murals for The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida

“Any glimpse into the life of an animal quickens our own and makes it so much the larger and better in every way.” – John Muir

We’re excited to present you yet another mural project!

Creating beauty and transforming spaces into something of value for people is our passion. So it was very exciting to be able to give this gift to the Wildlife Sanctuary.

Fear of Change – Poem by Wil Gillette

Avery: My good friend Wil Gillete asked me to film for a video of him performing an original poem of his titled: Fear of Change. This was such a great experience trying to shoot by firelight, I was unsure of how it would turn out, but the visual was astonishing! Never have I worked in such dark conditions like this before, but I came prepared with a large aperture camera lens… That being a cheap 35$ lens I bought off of Amazon! Shocking! I know! But it did the trick with my Sony ZV-E10!

The Lens I used is called the Fotasy 35mm Manual E-mount lens and for such a cheap deal this lens was fantastic to work with!

Revisions to my Novels

Kai: Hi everyone! Recently I took the time to reread my own novels, which led to a bit of clean up and revisioning. Although I’ve definitely improved my writing over time, I also like to honor the origins of the stories and keep them close to what they were when I began them many, many, years ago. Most of them were inspired by dreams I had, including the characters, and much of the plot lines.

As of now, a lot of these fantasies are yet to be finished off with sequels and continuation stories, one of which I hope to finish soon in the future.

But for now, I am happy with how these books have turned out, and I hope you enjoy the crazy journey the Jade’s Crossing Universe has to offer!

Summer Salt: A New Film Release

Two close friends find themselves at odds with each other, but in time they learn to grow and accept their differing perspectives and values.

Avery: I’m beyond excited to release this short film made between me and my good friends Wil Gillette and Chase Earnhardt.

The 15 minute film premiered yesterday at Culinary Productions in Pensacola for the Night on the Tracks film fest. This film was made with great passion over a several week long period, it was our first time working on something this big together, so we’re really excited to share it with you all.

“That Monolith” – A Sci-fi Short Story

Avery: This is a short comic that I wrote & illustrated for what was and hopefully still will be a long form story.

“Stranger Worlds Than These” is the intended title of this sci-fi series, with this short tale as the introduction.

With it being Halloween month, I thought what better time to turn this short comic into a voice acted short film then now? Please enjoy!

We Made A Hobbit House

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien

A couple of months ago, we began work on a brand new mural in Pensacola Florida, a mural commissioned by a good friend and neighbor of ours.

Over the last few years we have painted multiple murals themed around nature and animals, but this time it is a little bit different.
