Here is a new poetry collection from Arianna and I. It contains poems and art from the both of us, including art works we collaborated on. This first “Rainbow” titled poetry collection is the first installment of a colorful series, so if you like the art from this book, there is more to come! I have so far compiled three books for this series, but for now, enjoy “Thinking In Rainbows”.

Arianna: In the recent years I have been very inspired by Celtic and other forms of traditional music, and this song came about after re-stringing a zither we obtained last year. Upon playing, it simply flowed out. I call it ‘Mountains’, because that’s what the song felt like to me (I think the echoes enhance that feeling). Kai said it made her think of unicorns, and I added that to the companion art. So please enjoy this musical piece, and know there will be more to come. And because it has no real lyrics in it, I would be very intrigued to hear what you hear or interpret within this song as well!
Drake Arnold is a Florida based artist, he creates traditional paintings and murals with spiritual and psychedelic qualities, and he is the founder of Fractal-Spirit, an apparel company and artist collective. We talk about his life as an artist, augmented reality, murals, and much, much, more.
David Sandum is an artist and author, notable for his highly praised 2015 book, “I’ll Run till the Sun Goes Down: A Memoir about Depression and Discovering Art”. But many of you will know him as the founder of the Twitter Art Exhibit, an organization that exhibits post-card sized artwork submitted by artists from all over the world. The donated artwork is sold to help raise money for charities and non-profit organizations.
For Valentine’s Day this year, I present a book of poetry written by Kai and me. The theme being love, it covers not only romantic love, but love in all other forms as well.
I gave it the title “The Unlocking Of The Heart”after the very last poem in the book. That poem was written several years ago, but I feel it’s story and emotion has become more important to me, hence I gave it’s name to the book itself.
I truly hope you enjoy reading these poems, and that they remind and reveal to you the many faces and forms of love. And knowing that in the end, the most important thing we can give this world is the unlocking of our own hearts. For once we can do this, who knows what is possible?
It’s that time of year again, to create art and support charity! We’ve finished our cards for Twitter Art Exhibit! What is Twitter Art Exhibit you ask? It is an organization/event where artists from all over the world can submit a post card sized artwork that will be sold at the event to raise money for charity! You can learn more and register on their website, and we recommend you do! It’s fun to create art that can help bring good to the world! And we thank the founder David Sandum for creating it! We have participated for many years now, and always look forward to it!
