Making Art No One Cares About (And Why You Should Make It Anyway)

Avery: I have been working very hard on a project of mine called Meditations of Superman. It’s a sci-fi narrative project that uses ambient music to create a soundscape that coincides with the narration as well as the illustration. It is a very unique project, one that has taken me quite a long time to create—almost 2 years or longer at this point. Of course, most of that time was spent procrastinating and not necessarily knowing what I was doing.

We Made A Hobbit House

A couple of months ago, we began work on a brand new mural in Pensacola Florida, a mural commissioned by a good friend and neighbor of ours.

Over the last few years we have painted multiple murals themed around nature and animals, but this time it is a little bit different.

I made a Short Comic…

Avery: I’ve just released a brand new short 18 page comic called “Gingerberry.” This is a Proof-of-Concept short story for what will hopefully be a much longer all-ages comic series.

I made this comic so these characters that have existed for so long in my mind could finally exist in some tangible form. While this Proof-of-Concept story is a simple tale, I intend for more stories with a much deeper story in the future. Until then, please check read and enjoy this story!
