It’s one that I came to write when I was thinking about how much society can pressure and shame people into feeling like they’re never good enough. And how it can travel down generationally, and we never question why things have to be a certain way. Arianna: Here is a compilation of all my performances (so far) at our local open mics. Most of these are original songs I wrote and composed, but there’s a couple covers in there as well. I’ve definitely enjoyed having the opportunity to play my music at The Gordon (PenArts) and the Pacific Kava Bar, both have great atmospheres and lovely people. I’m grateful to have been so well received at both places.

New Song! “The Water is Where we Gather”
“Mountains” – Music By Arianna
Arianna: In the recent years I have been very inspired by Celtic and other forms of traditional music, and this song came about after re-stringing a zither we obtained last year. Upon playing, it simply flowed out. I call it ‘Mountains’, because that’s what the song felt like to me (I think the echoes enhance that feeling). Kai said it made her think of unicorns, and I added that to the companion art. So please enjoy this musical piece, and know there will be more to come. And because it has no real lyrics in it, I would be very intrigued to hear what you hear or interpret within this song as well!
