This song was written in 2015, making it one of my earlier works. Here’s the simplest description of what this song is about:
What if you ended up in what seemed to be a terrible conflict with another, only to live a long time in resentment, while the other person put it to rest long ago?
How would it feel to wake up from that grudge, only to see this was no longer a battle with the other person, it was a battle with yourself?

Shelley Harland is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Sydney Australia. She works in multiple music genres, but is perhaps best know for her electronic and trip-hop styled sound. She has released five albums and multiple singles, with much of her music licensed for film and Television. She has collaborated and toured with many talented artists in the music world such as Delerium, Junkie XL, Sleep Thief, and many more.
